Job Summary: Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company and actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The Sales Team is accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals of the company. The sales and strategic marketing activities of your team will be designed to achieve these goals.

The Account Manager is the primary external representative of the organization. Serving as a key educator to the community and business accounts. Persons in this role are expected to convey a sense of expertise in EPI printing services and capabilities. Responsible for supporting the company vision and mission.

Responsibilities and Duties for Account Manager:

· Meeting department production and quality goals as well as providing value to our customers.

· Play a key role in meeting the company wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals.

· Contributing to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth.

· Following systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals, procedures and work instructions.

· Complying with all Data and Information Security policies

· Complying with all OSHA safety requirements

· Comply with food safety regulations as required at EPI locations inspected by AIB.

General and Administrative for the Account Manager:

· Communicate effectively with Estimating, the Customer Service Team and Production personnel. Informing and updating them regularly regarding customer requirements and/or changes in requirements, to ensure that customer objectives and sales are met.

· Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

· Use good communication skills to manage telephone calls and email communications professionally, efficiently.

· Coordinate with suppliers, develop a thorough understanding of EPI’s suppliers and internal capabilities.

· Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed.

Customer Service for the Account Manager:

· Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient and timely manner

· Organize and prioritize workflow to meet customer deadlines.

· Attend to customer complaints and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution.

· Acknowledge and appropriately greet and assist customers in a timely manner. Emails to be acknowledged within four hours and a response within 24 hours.

· Take immediate and independent action when needed.

· The ability to handle stressful situations, remain flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

· Legal ability to work in the United States

· High school diploma/GED with experience, vocational/technical certification or equivalent work experience/on the job training

Desired Qualification for the Account Manager:

· At least 5 plus years of successful strategic outside sales experience selling fulfillment and print solutions.

· Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms

· Ability to identify and communicate customer’s needs and requirements (even when difficult)

· Knowledge of relevant computer applications, including Microsoft and email

· Highly organized, attention to detail and able to multi-task, in a fast-paced environment

· Self-starter and problem solver

· Good math skills

· PC and Microsoft Office proficiency required.

· College degree preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions:

· Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day

· Work areas may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

· Moderate to loud noise level

· Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short-notice activity

· Repetitive typing

Additional Duties:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
